Cinema Makeup School is excited to announce that two of our
graduates – Tara Lang and Miranda Jory - have been selected as contestants for
Season 2 of Syfy’s hit show FaceOff!
Tara Lang graduated from CMS’s Master Makeup program back in
2006 and has worked as a makeup artist on 22 independent feature films since. She also has a wide variety of experience in everything from web series, photo shoots and short films to music videos, commercials and SFX labs. Currently Tara is
working on the hit web series Bite Me
and a new film called Sorority Party
Massacre. Tara’s areas of expertise cover everything from character to
beauty to prosthetics.

Miranda Jory graduated from CMS in 2010 and has been working
with us as an intern since. Miranda’s course work at CMS
included Creature Maquette Sculpture, Special Makeup Effects, Prosthetics
Makeup and Digital FX. She has won multiple awards at student competitions in both the US and Canada. Miranda has a wide range
of expertise, but her work is especially focused in Special FX, prosthetics and
beauty/fantasy work.
